Type K Field Planter
- heavy duty, specifically designed for nursery stock

- heavy duty coulter disc in front of shoe
- shoe is width adjustable from 2¾" (7cm) to 5½" (14cm)
- shoe design helps it penetrate and prevent J roots
- gripper wheels ensure precise, fast planting and exact spacing
- steel grippers with rubber pads accommodate stock up to 47¼" (1.2m)
- plants can be spaced from 23⅝" (60cm) to 63" (1.6m) apart with the 3 gripper wheel
- grippers are driven with a heavy duty chain from a wheel which prevents slippage on dry, sandy, loose or wet soils
- grippers only release plants when absolutely vertical
- workers sit upright on padded seats
- optional adjustable markers lift via hydraulic cylinders
- equipped with heeling scrapers
- 2 row model requires 80 HP 2 wheel drive tractor, slightly smaller 4 WD
- 2 row planter weighs 2867 lbs (1300 kg)
