To determine the best size of COCODISC® for use in containers, please measure the inner pot diameter at the soil/mix level. The COCODISC® should be placed right on top of the soil/mix.


CNLA (Canadian Nursery Landscape Association) studied the effectiveness of hand weeding, herbicide and seven different weed barriers on dwarf Alberta spruce in 1 gallon pots. The barriers were applied and were evaluated periodically for the next two seasons. They found the COCODISC® to be the most effective weed control alternative - even more effective than herbicide!
